Looking at how to get my own place, mostly because I have a girl and she hates the guys I am living with. That does not bother me too much, she does not have to like those guys, but it does interfere with the plan a lot. I have to figure out what I can afford obviously. Right now I am living in an old run down house with three other guys. We split the bills, we have a good Direct TV package with a lot of sports channels and one of those cheap Centurylink internet deals. The Internet is in my name and I got a good deal on it, so I might just swap it to the new address after I find it, but that is problem. Splitting the bills four ways is really nice. I can not get any place that is any good for what I am paying for this place. That much is for sure.
In fact my monthly bills add up to around 230 dollars for the stuff that is associated with the living arrangements. I have other bills, my auto insurance and the cost of keeping my car running, plus the food I eat while I am out away from home. That sort of thing is easy to ignore, but you have to be able to pay for it all. Right now I have a lot of extra money, because I am making pretty decent money and I am not using it on this sort of stuff. However if I get my own place it is likely going to cost me around three times as much as what it is right now. So that would take away all of the money I have been saving and a whole lot more that I had been putting away.
